The truth you’re looking for
This hotel is a gem near Old Town. The room was modern and airy, featuring a spacious balcony. Staff delivered exceptional service, including a complimentary welcome drink. The outdoor garden is perfect for unwinding post-sightseeing. The breakfast spread had delightful options, and I loved the added benefit of the Basel Card for free transport!

Just a solid selection for a mini-vacation in Basel with the best value for money ratio. The complimentary evening drink was a nice touch after a long day exploring. Consider asking for a room away from the street for a quieter stay.

The Standard Charming Room was really nice! Super clean and quiet. The strong shower pressure was awesome. I loved the little touches like having a record player with some cool albums. The external motorized blinds kept the room dark, which was great for sleeping in. Just wish I had a coffee machine in the room, though I was told to ask for one. Overall, it felt cozy and personal, definitely a step above typical hotel stays.

The excellent location provided easy access to the city center and tram lines. The room was small but well-designed, featuring unique decor and a turntable, which added a charming touch. Service was attentive, with staff eager to accommodate requests. However, room size might be restrictive for some, and additional dining options like lunch and dinner would enhance the experience further.

Exceptional staff support made my stay better.
I had a terrible experience with the bathroom space. The access was constrained due to a gliding door, making it impossible to turn around comfortably. Additionally, the noise from the busy road outside kept me awake most of the night, and I couldn't figure out the air conditioning, leaving the room uncomfortably warm.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the old town. The room was incredibly comfortable, and having a coffee machine was a nice touch. The peaceful garden area provided a serene escape from the city buzz. However, the room was quite small, and the electrical sockets were not compatible with standard adaptors, which was inconvenient. While breakfast was offered, the price of CHF 25 felt excessive for what was available, so I chose to skip it.
